Phrazes For The Young

This is a preview for the upcoming solo album by Julian Casablancas, the lead singer and song writer for The Strokes. I'm all about the electro movement thats happening in music right now and I can only assume this album is going to be great, regardless if you're a Strokes fan or not. As for the video, the visual metaphors comparing small objects to their larger counterparts is pretty neat in a 'we're all connected' kind of way.

Here's the preview:

I've got faith that this solo outing with be a success because three of the five members of The Strokes have already released at least one phenomenal solo album.

Albert Hammond Jr. has released two albums on his own, Fab the drummer is in a band called Little Joy that just released a super hip summer album, and Nikolai Fraiture assumed the alias Nickel Eye for his solo effort. They're all in constant rotation on my portable music playing device. What more proof do you need?
