What do married women and the NBA Championship have in common?
Reggie Miller has tried to attain both and has been embarrassingly defeated every time.
Apparently the three-point specialist tried to hook up with the wife of a wealthy surf shop owner in California recently and was unsuccessful. But as we all know, Reggie is annoyingly persistent and he bombarded the woman with texts and phone calls. According to her, he sent 53 text messages in less than 4 hours.
Here is her husbands response to Reggie's attempted homewrecking:
This banner was flown over several beaches in Malibu this weekend as an embarrassing reminder for Reggie not to rub another mans rhubarb. The best part is this banner was sent up even after Reggie apparently threatened the husband for accusing him of hitting on his wife, "He said he had friends with guns. He implied I would get hurt if I didn't stop questioning him on his inappropriate pursuit of my fiancee and his attempts to subvert his efforts."
Well, cheer up Reggie. You'll always have the knowledge that you could, at one point, shoot a basketball from 23 feet better than other people.
